Public Board Meeting Highlights - March 19, 2024
The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.
The board welcomed presenters on the safe routes to school program, including the LRSD crossing guide supervisor and two student patrols from École Van Belleghem. The board received information on the status of capital projects, the March leadership team meeting, accessibility planning, and a recent information event for prospective employees.
The board passed a motion that will alter the catchment area of Windsor Park Collegiate to align with General Vanier and Frontenac Schools, and of Nelson McIntyre Collegiate to align with Marion, Archwood, and Nordale Schools.
The board reaffirmed the Ward 1 boundaries to include a specific section of the Rural Municipality of Springfield.
The Chair adjourned the meeting at 7:42 p.m.
